The high Melos product quality gains official confirmation from independent laboratories and institutes on a regular basis. Our company is also certified according to DIN/ISO 9001:2008. This certificate is available under Downloads. The certification covers all business areas, from development, to production, to sales.
In addition to our ISO certification, Melos GmbH is also a member of RAL Quality Assurance. This means we can ensure that the production processes and materials we use always comply with the strict Melos Quality Criteria. The RAL Quality Assurance confirms this with the corresponding certificates which can be requested from our service team according to the product division.
Melos GmbH also has the customs status of an 'Approved Economic Operator' which means we are permitted to export to all member states on an extremely simplified, straightforward basis. These simplifications are combined with strict constraints and tough requirements regarding reliability, the ability to pay, compliance with legal regulations and the fulfilment of certain safety standards. With its AEO-F certification, Melos GmbH also has the highest possible approval status.
In the Melos product divisions we ensure the quality and material attributes of our granulates with a wide range of external tests and internal laboratory procedures. Melos materials also set standards when it comes to their environmental and health-related standards. Melos EPDM granulates, for instance, are suitable for use in children's toys in accordance with the EN71, the so-called 'toys norm'. In the tests for DIN 18035-7, our sprinkle granulates are certified for safe use in protected waterways. According to ZEK 01.2-08, Melos EPDM granulate can be placed in the mouth or swallowed and used in toys for children < 36 months. Talk to our service team to find out more.
