- M.A. Hanna invested around DM 18 million in new manufacturing facilities and a development and applications centre for the cable compounds business unit at the Melle site
2004 – Independence
- Melos GmbH becomes an independent company
2007 – Expanded capacities and new recycling products
- Expansion of production capacities
- Shift towards the recycling sector
2008 – New warehouse space and production hall
- Expansion of logistics facilities to 14,700m²
- Total area for production and administration: 38,000 m²
- Expansion of STS production building

2017 – New Showroom: The Melos Village
- Open Air Showroom on a 1,700 m² roof area
- With an athletics track, fitness and multifunctional surfaces, playground surfaces and fall protection, sports artificial turf with infill granules and decorative artificial turf.
2018 – Competence Center
- New building with transition to the villa
- This created additional 560 m² of storage space, 1,000 m² of laboratory space and approx. 200 m² of office area.
2019 – Holistic new approach: Creating Living Spaces
- Melos accompanies transformation processes and designs the digital surface and interior design of tomorrow.
- Innovative products: Stylemaker®, Turfrob, 3D printing, Polycomp industrial coatings, Interactive LED floorings
