General Conditions of Participation for the `Laykold Video Casting`
Melos GmbH is looking for two models for filming a video for the new Laykold campaign.
Laykold is a brand of tennis hardcourt constructed over an asphalt or concrete base. It can be constructed without cushion or with a cushion layer (Laykold Cushion Plus) for better force reduction and longer player longevity. Court surfaces are made of various materials including rubber, silica, and acrylic resin. Laykold is manufactured by Advanced Polymer Technology.
Laykold was first used between 1920 and 1930. Since then, this surface has been used on more than 100,000 courts around the world.

Eligibility
All natural persons of full age are eligible to participate in the casting and the subsequent filming.
Participation in the casting
Participation in the casting is only possible under these general conditions of participation. Participation in the casting is free of charge and does not dependent on the purchase of goods or services. Participation in the casting takes place by liking the post, marking the hitting partner and posting a comment on the official Facebook, Instagram, Xing and Linkedin channel of Melos GmbH. In this post you should convince us via text, picture or video why YOU of all people have to be featured in the Laykold video.
Determination of the model and publicity shots
We will select the models on the basis of the postings and will inform them of our choice and coordinate the further procedure with them.
The filming for the commercial will take place in Herford and Marienfeld and will last approximately 7-8 hours. The journey to the two film locations must be organised and paid for independently; we will not provide overnight accommodation. The models will each receive a 50 Euro Amazon voucher, a tennis outfit from "BIDI BADU" and tennis shoes from "TENNIS POINT" as compensation for the day of filming.
Application period
The application period for the casting ends on 25.06.2021 at 8 pm. Applications can only be submitted during this period.
Rights to the film recordings
The models agree that the photos/film footage taken during the filming days, in which they can be seen, may be posted on the internet and included in printed advertising materials of Melos GmbH. The video will be distributed via the social media channels of Melos GmbH (Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Xing, YouTube) and used for commercial purposes, as well as on the website of Melos GmbH. In addition, the video will be used across companies within the Sport Group Holding GmbH for marketing the Laykold brand.
So far as the photos/film recordings reveal information about my ethnic origin, religion or health (e.g. skin colour, headgear, glasses), the consent also refers to this information.
Information on the internet is accessible worldwide and can be found using search engines and linked to other information, which may allow personality profiles to be created about the model. Information posted on the internet, including photos/films, can easily be copied and redistributed. There are specialised archiving services whose aim is to permanently document the state of certain websites at certain dates. This may mean that information published on the internet can still be found on the original site even after it has been deleted.
The photos/films may also and especially be published on the social media channels of Melos GmbH and the companies of the associated Sport Group Holding GmbH group of companies. According to the currently known information, photos/films and data cannot be deleted at all from the aforementioned social media channels, but are only no longer shown publicly. There is currently no sufficient information about the internal use of photos/films and data by the aforementioned social media channels - for example to create personality profiles.
Collection and use of personal data necessary for participation
For participation in the casting, personal data (Facebook or Instagram account name, age details) will be collected, stored and processed from the participants. The data will only be collected, stored and processed for the purpose of the casting and the participant's consent is a prerequisite for participation. The participants' data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the casting or the subsequent filming. If a participant revokes his/her consent, his/her further participation in the casting and filming is no longer possible and the participant is excluded from further participation.
