Jersey day at Melos
Support for the German Olympic Sports Confederations's initiative to strengthen local club sports
Sport and its many facets inspire millions of people across Germany. In order to strengthen the more than 86,000 German sports clubs, the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) has proclaimed the Jersey Day. Whether at work, at school or when shopping: On June 11, the jerseys, training jackets and polo shirts of local clubs should be seen wherever possible in places where they would not normally be expected.
Melos GmbH also took part in this initiative and called on its employees to support the local clubs with appropriate clothing. The campaign was captured with a joint group photo in which all participants were entered into a prize draw to win a complete set of jerseys for a local sports club of their choice. In order to enable employees from non-overlapping shifts to take part in the competition, they were able to send in photos of themselves in a sporty look at their workplace.
The lucky winner of the new jersey set including high-quality Melos flock is the soccer team of the Viktoria Gesmold club.
