Laykold® installed at TC Melle
In Melle you can now play on a tennis court surface of the highest quality. In July, a Laykold® reference surface was installed at TC Melle and is now ready to be played on.
Which tennis fan wouldn't like to play a few balls on a surface of internationally renowned tournaments? You can now experience a Laykold® court at the local TC Melle. This is the first Laykold® reference in the immediate area around our company. For us, the court is an excellent opportunity to show our customers the Laykold® product under real conditions on site here in Melle. In addition, it is our intention to support the TC Melle and thus the sport in our city with the construction of the new area.
International tournament with Laykold® coating
This year, the US Open was equipped for the first time with Laykold® as the official court surface. The US Open thus changed the courts for the first time in 42 years. The change continues the ongoing modernization of the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, the facility where the Grand Slam will be played. Previous major renovations have included the installation of a movable roof over the Center Court, the construction of a new show court and the new construction of the Louis Armstrong Stadium.
